Why it is Important to be connected to people & Traditions

Do you know why it is to be important to be connected to people and traditions??? Well It is important to be connected to people because it shows that these traditions are important in building strong family relationships between generations.


The important thing is that you get together as a family to share memories and pass on the family traditions and values. Creating new traditions every year and passingthemdown generation by generation.

If you want to become a strong united family then read these things and I guarantee you would become the best family you could ever think of.

The biggest kite in the world and eggshell

WALT: We are learning how to read the story and answer the questions on the slides

TASK DESCRIPTION : I'm in room 3 literacy class in the third highest group ( cowley ) We read a story form a school journal named eggshell. Then we had to answer questions on the slides, but we had to read another story from another journal ( all by ourselves ) and it was called the biggest kite in the world.

Bedroom of lounge??? Having trouble trying to think where to put your new Tv

We are learning on where I think you should put the new flatscreen.


 WOW Mrs Tele’a just bought herself a new flat screen television and just can’t decide on where to put it. Well that’s why I’m here , to explain throughout the following paragraphs below in which room I prefer the tv should be the best place to go in.  “ do you know where to put it??? “


I prefer that the Flat screen television being in the lounge is the best place for it. So when your family members come and visit you they can watch the tv not just sit on the couch and stare at the wall or the ceiling, and plus You wouldn’t want your room soo untidy right  “ Do you??? “........ didn’t think so.


My third reason why I think that the tv should go in the lounge is because you don’t want anyone coming in at the wrong times. When you are in your room trying to think doing your homework. They’re just gonna barge right in when they know there favourite tv show is on.


From my point of view why the tv should go in the lounge is because when it’s in your room you get too attractive to it and especially when you are trying to study you won’t get much sleep out of it.


Geez just figuring out on where to put a flat screen Tv. It’s simple you just need to think before you to take action If you want to know where to put it don’t ask someone where do THEY think you should put it, YOU have to think where YOU think you should put should put it.

Unreal - Light house blues

In room 3 Mrs Tele'a Had read us a book called light house blues. First she read chapter 1 - 2 then she said we had to make a prediction on what was going to happen next.


TASK DESCRIPTION: Room 3 had to make a prediction after Mrs Tele'a  reads 2 chapters from the light house blues 

What are your favorite things or events to do in school???

WALT: Are learning how to write a template on what are my favorite things or events to do in school.


What are one of your favorite things or events that you love to do in school? Well  Mine was back when I was a yr 6 ( even though I am a yr 8 now ) but, it still was at the end of 2016 yr 6 camp, We had a bunch of cool activities like orientation or abseiling. Anyways, I am going to be explaining to you about how fun I had at yr 6 camp.

Yr 6 camp at kawau island was a experience I would have never been to in life, but What was fun about it, was we played games
( activities ) during daytime and played games during night time. Like for an example we did the scary, high tall wall ( abseiling. )

One of my favorite activities from yr 6 camp was kayaking because we kayaked from kawau island to another island. ( I forgot the name of that island because it was 2 years ago ) It was kind of scary going very far from the island because It felt like I was going to sink to the bottom of the sea.

Going to kawau island on a furry was so scary and fun at the same time. Because looking at the river felt like it was coming closer and closer and what was so fun about it that it was going fast and it felt like it took like 10 mins but realized it took more than that.

So there you have it My favorite thing/events at Pt England school is yr 6 camp maybe you should explore what it feels like to be there playing all those activities I mentioned.

Do you wanna become a good role model for your younger generation or your siblings? Well keep reading this from top to bottom and I guarantee that you will become a great role model. I am going to explain to you about 3 or 4 simple paragraphs on how to be a good role model.

Actions you make -  Actions you make will apply to the younger ones meaning as if you do something silly the younger ones will follow. For an example If a senior whacks a school hat on one of their friends well you know what’s going to happen next the young ones will follow ( but they will also get all emotional because they can’t handle it but you can) So You have to think before you take action

Confidence and leadership - A good role model is someone who is always positive,calm and who is confident in themselves. You don’t want someone who puts others down “do you “. I’m sure you want someone who is impressed with their improvements, and tries their very best next time to achieve their goal. Even if there goal is small (Or big) it is still worth it, because it is personal to them and forget what others say about whatever it is just think what is best for you.

Set an example - You should always set an example for others to look and do the same thing meaning as if someone is sitting up in their classroom then others will do the same.For an example someone is cleaning up the house vacuum and everything else they won’t ask if they need help they will just do it.

So There you have it 3 or 4 simple sentences that will help you on how to be a good role model. I’m sure if you follow the exact  instructions on how to be a good role model I’m sure your going to be the best role model anyone could ever know.

TASK DESCRIPTION:What I need to work on is to draw my waist to my shoes but that didn't quite turn out good. 

How to be good friends

I am here to explain to you on how to be a good friend you can find some ideas in these
few paragraphs and learn how to be a good friend to show them you can.

My first reason To be a good friend is you need to trust one another, to trust one another
you may tell them a personal thing that’s happening in your family and may not tell
someone else that you don’t trust. Like for an example you don’t want anyone to know
because they might tell everyone just watch what your saying and trust one another..

How to be a good friend is to care for each other. When they are feeling sad,  if they tell
how you feel maybe you should tell them how you feel. Like for an example if some is
lonely/sad you should ask them why and ask if he/she wants to play.

To be a good friend is to put people up and not down, Meaning if they believe in
something you don’T believe maybe you should pretend that you do so they can keep
their hopes up.For an example if she/he believes in santa claus and you don’t just
pretend like you do so they won’t feel heart broken.

If you want to be a good friend you have to stand/stick up for them, Meaning as if
someone is bullying someone else maybe you should stand/stick up for them rather than
just standing and  watching him/her get bullied. So for an example if they are/not your
friends you just still do something.

My last idea on how to be a good friend, On how to be a good friend is to put others first,
On putting others first you need to help and explain if they are struggling on something, feeling sad or lonely. All you need to do is make sure they understand before you do
something you want to do.

So there you have it... five ideas on how to be a good friend maybe if you want to make
or be friends with someone maybe you should get some ideas from one of these
paragraphs don’t try to impress them you just need to be yourself.

Choose 2 which you thoroughly enjoyed, explain why - 1. I enjoyed going to rainbows end because the yr 8s already had their time at camp so it was our turn to go to rainbows end. One of my favorite rides was the roller coaster because we go up and down and side to side I was screaming my head off and closing my eyes the whole time but it was worth a try.

2. I really enjoyed yr 7 team building because I enjoy making slime, I also enjoy making pancakes with ms sio


 3.     Choose 2 that you didn’t enjoy as much, explain why - The one thing I didn’t like the most was Fiafia because it was really cold and I had to stay in the cold for the whole thing. It was also raining as well and that made me freeze like crazy.

I would like to say thanks to 2 beautiful teachers who have taught me throughout this year and their names are dazzling Mrs tele’a and great dancer MRS ILAOA. They have taught the things that I didn’t understand so they explained to me until I understood. I would like acknowledge someone who has helped me more than anyone else has this year. She has been there for me when I needed help. She has beautiful long blond-ish hair she is brilliant at maths and literacy and her name Is Trendy.

ledge from your time in Pt England?  5. 2019: What are you looking forward to next year?   What are you anxious about?  What will you do to help you get through difficult times in the class, playground, with your peers?Well I am looking forward to playing as many sports as I can but have never played before, Well there is one thing I am anxious about which is being in front of big crowds but I have overcome my fears somehow.
When I struggle with things I would ask my teacher or a student to help me.

see something you have never seen before

WALT:We are learning how to write about trees
Task description: We had to write about a tree.

I found something, something very beautiful no one has ever seen before. Standing in the middle of
nowhere, all alone. Seeing it reflect off the sun. Walking to towards it looking at it weirdly, Seeing this
beautiful tall tree me looking up at it’s branches. Holding one of its branches side to side walking around
it to see if it was safe. It looked like it was safe so I sat down under graceful leaves swaying side to side
up and down.

So nice the breeze coming towards me something caught me eye, you know anything could go  in your
eye like dirt,grass or a tiny piece of branch. Until i noticed it was getting darker and darker so I thought
for a moment should I stay or  should I go,so I thought if I stayed then I would hear scary sounds but if
I go then I will be safe and sound so I stayed till the morning and never fell asleep.

Again seeing the tree reflect off the sun It looked so beautiful.” OH NO “ my parents are probably
FREAKING OUT!!! So I ran all the way home to see my parents but realised that they didn’t worry a
bit they just woke up from sleep went to the kitchen and ate. to be continued...

I am here to explain to you on how to be a good friend you can find some ideas in
