WALT -  understand the elements of informational writing.

There are many things to explore in Asia, the biggest continent in the world. Did you know that there are 43 countries in Asia like South Korea, North Korea, Japan and other countries in Asia ?? Well Pt England School, in team 5, students will be learning about the 5 continents.

Japanese chin, Have you ever heard of that kind of Animal before??? Well, It’s one of my favorite animals in Japan, I haven’t met one or even seen one in person. Have you ever seen that kind of animal before??? Well, the interesting facts about a Japanese chin are that it can be found within the royal courts of both China and Japan.


Akita, They one of my favorite animals in Japan too, well have you heard that Akitas have been around for thousands of years and yet they're still alive??? Well, that’s just an interesting fact. Did you know that an Akita can live up to 10- 15 years??? Well, I heard... Obviously, because I’m talking about it duh.

Hokkaido dog, Did you know that a Hokkaido dog is hardly found in Japan, they can even reach up to 18 to 22 inches in height and 45 to 65 pounds of weight, Males are slightly larger than females.??? Well It’s an interesting fact right

TASK DESCRIPTION -  I learnt a story about a girl named Meredith practising on being a detective for her audition in wellington.

Peter Pan and the last Living tree

WALT -  Use a set sentence structure to create an interesting Narrative 

Once upon a time, there lived a magical boy named Peter pan living upon a mysterious magical portal where nobody but peter pan knew what to do or say to make the portal open. Then one moment an evil witch who had a mole on the tip of her nose came and took peter pan's magic powers away but there was only one thing he could do, was to get it back before sunrise, If not then his enchanting powers would be gone and the stinking witch would vanish into the spirit world and never return until the next eclipse. 

It was 10 hours until sunrise and peter pan didn't have that much time to get his magical powers. Peter pan had only one friend to rely on, was the last living tree. Peter pan called him Lant. so, Lant, the last living tree had a magic of his own but cannot give it to anyone else, so Peter and Lant made a brilliant plan but didn't know for sure If it was going to work so they tried multiple times but still didn't feel like it was going to work so they made a plan A and a plan B. The both of them set off the critical place, a place people have experienced but have never come out of there. Peter and Lant packed all of their trunks they needed and set off to Skeleton Island, where Zombies and all kinds of deadly things guarding the evil witch ( their queen ). They have finally arrived at skeleton Island and could see some people in the distance. 


YAY!! it's my old friends Lant this is Posie, Jaya, Betty, Metro, Zoe, Mobley, Jayla, Marzuli, and Claire. " Hello everybody nice to meet you," Lant said. Come on everybody we don't have much time to get my magic powers back. " Next stop we go to Skeleton Island," said Peter Pan. They have finally arrived at Skeleton island. The only person that is scared is Jayla, she's so afraid that she is at the end of the boat shaking her legs then Marzuli asks Jayla " Why'd you come if you're afraid? "  
" Because I would have had no one to play with ? " whined Jayla. They all crept at the back of a huge rock seeking to see how much Goblins are guarding the hideous looking castle. " Marzuli, Jayla crept on them and kill the heck out of those wicked things," said Peter. The brother and sister crept up and killed those wicked goblins. There was a time how an old man had the same problem as Peter Pan. But the man’s problem was not as bad as Peter pans, his problem was worse than anyone who has had the same problem combined. They all split up and went their separate ways The others followed Lant because he was the only living nature that had powers. Peter, Jayla, and Marzuli all made it up to the long-lasting stairs. 



until they saw two goblins guarding the queen, the evil witch having a plastic looking crown with dinosaur stickers on it thinking she's a queen but really she isn't. The evil witch holding a sharp plastic stick in her hand waving it in Peter's face saying " you stay back you ." " ohh like this or like this. " replies Peter. " just stand there " " right here, right here " " just stand still and don't move!!! " Shouts the witch. Peter sees a light on the corner of his eye grabs it and tries to run away but nope, you know how fast witches are???  yeah well, that evil old witch rode on her broom as fast as her 100 hundred yr old broom could go, grabbed the necklace laughed away and out the window. But the witch did not know that Peter drank his magical powers and he ran as fast as his little legs could go. It was finally sunrise and Peter Pan had got his magical powers back. Peter saw the witch in the sky vanish into thin air and that meant she wouldn't disappear forever she would come back in the next Eclipse..

I admire my mother, Do you???

WALT - We are learning how to compose a poem

I was raised by a mother, who didn't treat me wrong
But she was a mother, who kept me strong
She would always keep, my family together 
Through all the bad times, she would be there forever
She's a hard worker, she works all day
She may be stressed, but she smiles every day

TASK DESCRIPTION - I admire my mom that's why I wrote about it Do you???

would you rather Clean or do whatever you want

Would you rather Sit on a chair and watch whatever you want?, Or would you rather do something that doesn’t concern sitting down? Well I would do something without someone telling me something to do, and when something is clean then I look around and if there’s nothing else to do then I would do whatever I wanted to.

So If you are those kinds of people who just come home from school ( or work ), get changed and start cleaning up. well that’s kind of me( Are you sure ). Like for an example you do something your parents didn’t tell you to do makes them a little happier rather than shouting “ CLEAN UP THIS HOUSE NOW!!! You get me right?

Secondly think before you take action, meaning as if you choose to do whatever you want when your house looks like a dump well it’s your choice not mine. If you are unsure if you should just want to come home and do whatever you like well I wouldn’t do that if I were you.

And last of all maybe you should lift some weight rather than gaining some weight. Well that’s not me ( obviously ) I’m just saying instead of watching tv and eating junk food wouldn’t help you.

The ominous beach

WALT - We are showing our knowledge of explanation structure through explaining something I enjoy doing in my spare time.

People getting absorbed inside the waterfall that reaches to the end of the world. The NZ Herald news comes on and says " Welcome to NZ Herald, We have a bad condition that this beach is the ominous beach I've never seen on earth. imagining of me swimming on that beach gives me the creeps.

TASK DESCRIPTION - Room 3s literacy classroom in Pt England school teacher put up three pictures in the class site for the students to write about.

The sunset

WALT -  Room 3s teacher ( Whea Kelly ) times us five minutes,puts up a picture on the television and we have to write about it. She tells a letter vouw not to use in a word or sentence so our letter was U.

As I see the sun travel beneath the deep blue sea and the stars, the moon appears in the dark blue sky. The big white fluffs circle nearby the moon.

WAR

Winter

Winter is here and reindeers are everywhere, I see the pinecone trees,  It is freezing cold, trying to get to shelter.

Mountains

A mountain is a gigantic landform that grows beyond the surrounding land in a limited area, usually in the form of a mountain. A mountain is generally steeper than a hill. Mountains last created through tectonic units or volcanism. Those units can locally boost the surface of the ground.

A very lonely dog

WALT - We are learning how to free writing

If only there was a way to fix something, something that is very lonely, and has no one to talk or hang out with, It's all on its own. It's a dog a very empty dog. All day the lone dog is waiting for it's an owner to play with, But as his owner is home he is too weak to play and must go and rest. But as he rests he dog named Sophie bugs him by wagging its tail and jumping on the owner, The owner sighs gets up and play's with Sophie. The next day Sophie gets a new sibling named Sleepy.

TASK DESCRIPTION - I did free writing when I had finished my work.

Attitude talks

WALT - We are learning how to summarize about our attitude talks.


After morning tea a women named Jannah came to talk to team five about attitude talks. She even works at a company called Attitude. She makes funny jokes that makes us laugh She came to talk to us about friendships. She came to talk to us about how to make friends and how to keep them like for an example you don't have to be a show off to just make friends you just need to be yourself. It's funny how girls talk way more than boys. But most of the boys why girls go in a group to the toilet like they have something to hide or they are just supporting each other like go ..... She gave us three or four breaks and to high two people and say something positive to them. Jannah explained to us why making friends is cool. she talked to us about being the popular kid.
