A very lonely dog

WALT - We are learning how to free writing

If only there was a way to fix something, something that is very lonely, and has no one to talk or hang out with, It's all on its own. It's a dog a very empty dog. All day the lone dog is waiting for it's an owner to play with, But as his owner is home he is too weak to play and must go and rest. But as he rests he dog named Sophie bugs him by wagging its tail and jumping on the owner, The owner sighs gets up and play's with Sophie. The next day Sophie gets a new sibling named Sleepy.

Attitude talks

WALT - We are learning how to summarize about our attitude talks.


After morning tea a women named Jannah came to talk to team five about attitude talks. She even works at a company called Attitude. She makes funny jokes that makes us laugh She came to talk to us about friendships. She came to talk to us about how to make friends and how to keep them like for an example you don't have to be a show off to just make friends you just need to be yourself. It's funny how girls talk way more than boys. But most of the boys why girls go in a group to the toilet like they have something to hide or they are just supporting each other like go ..... She gave us three or four breaks and to high two people and say something positive to them. Jannah explained to us why making friends is cool. she talked to us about being the popular kid.

TASK DESCRIPTION - In team five after jannah talking to us about how to make friends we have to write a blogpost about it.

The cutest sloth ever

A sloth resting on a branch attempting to climb up a tree. Every time he steps on a branch he notices something within the trees at the bottom of the ground. He notices a unicorn dabbing to everyone who wants to high five him. Like for an example, He says high five to anybody who walks past him and dabs like a joker.

I just love sports so much

WALT -  We are showing our knowledge of explanation structure through explaining something I enjoy spending my time doing.    


Netball, rugby, rugby tackle, Softball, soccer There is just so many sports in remembrance. My popular sport is Netball. What’s your’s??? That's what I will be demonstrating during the following paragraphs below.

Netball for life!!! Sike just jokes. I am not as fit as you think I am, I don’t know whether I am good at Netball or not. Do you like to play Netball???


I have played basketball before but that was so last year, It was quite fun and confusing because I didn’t quite get the skills my brother taught me, My brother is pretty good at playing basketball that's why I asked him to teach me the simplest skills he had.


I haven’t played sports since last year but the most interesting part about sports is playing with my friends. I’d willingly play with my friends than play with some kind of stranger I don't know.


I don't have any helpful ideas for you, but I decided on the simple sports that just came to mind and that I've played. I hope you don’t judge anyone by their size or weight, because one day you will regret what you said about them.

TASK DESCRIPTION - Those weren't the best Ideas you could use. If you want useful Ideas on why you love playing sports well search something on google something to do with sports. You can't copy and paste but you can use the sentence but change it up a bit ( I man a lot )

Why I love my friends!!!

WALT - write an exciting explanation about my favourite hobbies.

Is friends even a hobby??? Well, I don’t even have a clue. Well, I think it’s not a hobby but It just is. That what I will be explaining beyond the paragraphs below.

Friends are people that can be looked up to and trusted. Usually, friends have similar interests. A friend is one who likes a person's skill and helps or inspires them to make the right choices and do not get into any trouble at all. The power of friendship between two people can change.

They are loving kind, generous and courageous. They make laugh and smile. What I love about them is that they are always there when I need them, Whenever I need them and whatever for, they are always there helping me.

It’s unusual how I know I can always depend on them. No matter what mess I am in or what trouble I've gotten myself into, I know they will help me out. I know I can always count on them for leading me and keeping me on the right track always and forever.

Three reasons why I love and appreciate my friends maybe you should read this again if you think your friends are like this to you.

How much I had fun at Rainbows End !!!

Rainbows End. Have you ever been there ??? Well If you haven’t maybe I’ll just burst your bubble, because It’s so much fun, OMG ( Oh my gosh ) There is so many enjoyable ride’s, Keep reading the following paragraphs below if you want to know more about Rainbows End.


The stratosphere - That was terrifying, Because I didn’t want to go on but most of my group went on the ride for extreme, Like isn’t that creepy. Watching them from down bottom It makes me want to scream too. But luckily I didn’t go on.


The fear fall, It gave me the creeps Like, I liked the ride, But on my first try It felt like MY LEGS WERE FALLING OFF. But at least I nearly tried all the rides. Maybe when you go on the fear fall, For the first time you will know what it feels like.


And last of all The rollercoaster, I loved that ride but It was just TOO MUCH, I couldn’t handle it at first, because I closed my eyes the whole way,  When I opened it I was on the side, I Literally  screamed my head off, We went on a couple of times.


That was probably The best day, but not ever. So there you have it. 3 or 4 reasons why I love Rainbows End. If/When you go to Rainbows End you’ll have the best time of your life...

TASK DESCRIPTION -  I'm in the third highest group In literacy ( I mean I used to ) and we had to do our last task before I moved up a group.

Why it is Important to be connected to people & Traditions

Do you know why it is to be important to be connected to people and traditions??? Well It is important to be connected to people because it shows that these traditions are important in building strong family relationships between generations.


The important thing is that you get together as a family to share memories and pass on the family traditions and values. Creating new traditions every year and passingthemdown generation by generation.

If you want to become a strong united family then read these things and I guarantee you would become the best family you could ever think of.

The biggest kite in the world and eggshell

TASK DESCRIPTION : I'm in room 3 literacy class in the third highest group ( cowley ) We read a story form a school journal named eggshell. Then we had to answer questions on the slides, but we had to read another story from another journal ( all by ourselves ) and it was called the biggest kite in the world.

Bedroom of lounge??? Having trouble trying to think where to put your new Tv

We are learning on where I think you should put the new flatscreen.


 WOW Mrs Tele’a just bought herself a new flat screen television and just can’t decide on where to put it. Well that’s why I’m here , to explain throughout the following paragraphs below in which room I prefer the tv should be the best place to go in.  “ do you know where to put it??? “


I prefer that the Flat screen television being in the lounge is the best place for it. So when your family members come and visit you they can watch the tv not just sit on the couch and stare at the wall or the ceiling, and plus You wouldn’t want your room soo untidy right  “ Do you??? “........ didn’t think so.


My third reason why I think that the tv should go in the lounge is because you don’t want anyone coming in at the wrong times. When you are in your room trying to think doing your homework. They’re just gonna barge right in when they know there favourite tv show is on.


From my point of view why the tv should go in the lounge is because when it’s in your room you get too attractive to it and especially when you are trying to study you won’t get much sleep out of it.


Geez just figuring out on where to put a flat screen Tv. It’s simple you just need to think before you to take action If you want to know where to put it don’t ask someone where do THEY think you should put it, YOU have to think where YOU think you should put should put it.

TAKS DESCRIIPTION: If you have bought a new Tv well here are some tips for you if you don't know where to put it

FRITATA with kumara.

In cooking we learnt how to make a Delicious golden brown Frittata with kumara. first you need a buddy to help you to chop the onion in squares while you grate the kumara then put oil in the pan and once your buddy has finished chopping the onion then boil the onion in a pan, put the grated kumara in in a bowl then crack two eggs and mix then when your onion is boiled then put it in with the Frittata and get a baking pan and spray with cooking spray. When you have done that then put it in the oven on bake and the number on 150.

Unreal - Light house blues

In room 3 Mrs Tele'a Had read us a book called light house blues. First she read chapter 1 - 2 then she said we had to make a prediction on what was going to happen next.

What are your favorite things or events to do in school???

WALT: Are learning how to write a template on what are my favorite things or events to do in school.


What are one of your favorite things or events that you love to do in school? Well  Mine was back when I was a yr 6 ( even though I am a yr 8 now ) but, it still was at the end of 2016 yr 6 camp, We had a bunch of cool activities like orientation or abseiling. Anyways, I am going to be explaining to you about how fun I had at yr 6 camp.

Yr 6 camp at kawau island was a experience I would have never been to in life, but What was fun about it, was we played games
( activities ) during daytime and played games during night time. Like for an example we did the scary, high tall wall ( abseiling. )

One of my favorite activities from yr 6 camp was kayaking because we kayaked from kawau island to another island. ( I forgot the name of that island because it was 2 years ago ) It was kind of scary going very far from the island because It felt like I was going to sink to the bottom of the sea.

Going to kawau island on a furry was so scary and fun at the same time. Because looking at the river felt like it was coming closer and closer and what was so fun about it that it was going fast and it felt like it took like 10 mins but realized it took more than that.

So there you have it My favorite thing/events at Pt England school is yr 6 camp maybe you should explore what it feels like to be there playing all those activities I mentioned.

tech @ tamaki - Cooking

WALT: @ tech we have to learn how to make a silver corned beef and veggies

Me and my buddy (Julieana) learnt how to make silver corned beef and veggies. By reading this ingredients I guarantee you will become the best cook in the world.

here are the ingredients we used step by step
so you are supposed to chop 1 potato in squares, then peel 1 carrot and cut in slices (not squares) Then fill your pot half way and wait till it boils then  put your potato/potatoes in the pot with your carrot/carrots and wait till your potato soften a little bit then chop up you veges - cabbage,Cauliflower,capsicum and onion. When you know your potato is soft then you can munch it all up

WALT: We are learning how to practise on our writing for our test.


Do you wanna become a good role model for your younger generation or your siblings? Well keep reading this from top to bottom and I guarantee that you will become a great role model. I am going to explain to you about 3 or 4 simple paragraphs on how to be a good role model.

Actions you make -  Actions you make will apply to the younger ones meaning as if you do something silly the younger ones will follow. For an example If a senior whacks a school hat on one of their friends well you know what’s going to happen next the young ones will follow ( but they will also get all emotional because they can’t handle it but you can) So You have to think before you take action

Confidence and leadership - A good role model is someone who is always positive,calm and who is confident in themselves. You don’t want someone who puts others down “do you “. I’m sure you want someone who is impressed with their improvements, and tries their very best next time to achieve their goal. Even if there goal is small (Or big) it is still worth it, because it is personal to them and forget what others say about whatever it is just think what is best for you.

Set an example - You should always set an example for others to look and do the same thing meaning as if someone is sitting up in their classroom then others will do the same.For an example someone is cleaning up the house vacuum and everything else they won’t ask if they need help they will just do it.

So There you have it 3 or 4 simple sentences that will help you on how to be a good role model. I’m sure if you follow the exact  instructions on how to be a good role model I’m sure your going to be the best role model anyone could ever know.
